Saturday Night at Checker's June 21st

TBSVTOA are meeting at the Checker's for this this car show.

It is this Saturday JUNE 21st.6-10 pm

Bring the whole family and your detailed ride.

The Checker's is at Fletcher Ave. and North Dale Mabry in Tampa.

The entry fee is 5 dollars and trophies are awarded.

Try to get there between 5:30 and 6:00 pm.

MMNA will also be in attendance so between the 2 clubs we should be able to really show those GM owners what they are missing!

We could possibly be going to Sonic afterwards to show up some rival nameplates there as well.

IM SO going... I know where this one is at since I went to it the first time last month ... when hardly no one showed....:p Had a damaged Focus then too and still made it. Got it Fixed cant wait to go now to this one:D Even gonna detail it inside and out meaning where I ride and where the engine rides, lol....

yea i am gonna come out but the hood looks like crap cuz the guys at freedom ford didnt do a very good job painting it.:( swirl marks and rough edges make me sad

The edges prob just need wetsanded then a rebuff with a finer compound.I looked at it on Wed.Just call them they will make it right.I just got my car back today from having them do some wetsanding.I also had some swirls when the paint was fresh but you should see it now.Like glass.George the body shop manager is a good guy,just be nice about it and they will make it right.Black is a tough color to buff especially when the paint has not had 30 days to completely cure.

I see it was asked once before and so far, and not answered but..... is the Show on still???? Even If the weather is crappy??.... ill still show up even if it is crappy just wont have a clean shiny car, lol.... long drive makes for a drity car in this kinda weather.

LOL i dont mind the rain or a sprinkle, but as long as the show is on im there, provided my street drains by morning so i can get out of here when time comes to go up there.... there is about a foot of water at the end of my Driveway at the moment thanks to the rain this afternoon, lol...And Short cars Can't Swim!

Snell Isle ? Any ways, here ya go Stunna : Take Howard Franklin Bridge East towards Tampa, stay on I-275 North all the way past Tampa interchange, keep goin North till you see Fletcher Ave. exit. Take Fletcher left (west ) and drive till you see Checkers on your left and Road House Grill on your right. Just befor Dale Mabry Hwy intersection. Or if you want to get bogged down in "Hell-Traffic" take Dale Mabry exit north from I-275 after you cross the Howard Franklin Bridge and keep going till you pass a Borders Bookstore on left and a Denny's on right. Take a right at the light ( Fletcher Ave. ) and Checkers is on right.

Just remember, if you're going to Checkers it's longer mileage wise to go all the way up I-275, and it's thicker traffic wise to go up Dale Mabry way....whatever you're comfortable with. Remember , "Fletcher Ave" is the road Checkers is on. See Ya !
