Tampa Bay Go Karting April 16

What a nice day and a nice event. Thank you all for coming out and making the Karting day a wonderful time. Thank you to Lampy for putting the event together. What nice start to his new role in Tampa Bay SVTOA.

I think we have some ringers out there. RTipton is the new club champ until next time with 03Chris in a close second and JKDCobra finishing off third in the main race run group.

We have to give Kudos to 03Chirs event though he did not win the main race but had the fastest lap time of all with a 24.47. Hey..! That real good considering he was 3 tenth out of the top 10 in the tracks top 10 fastest overall for all persons who race at he track.

To top that all off many of you joined our monthly dinner night at Quaker Steak and Lube. Except for overwhelming the place with all the people the dinner turned out to be a great time giving everyone a chance to eat and mingle with conversation.

(lol)No, i'm not a ringer :rolleyes: . On the printouts that you get when you finish the race, it shows how many times you've visited and how many races you've run. By the end of the day, i was still on my 2nd visit and my 6th race. It was my 3rd race on the new track layout. My best time for the day ended up being 25.45sec which i ran in the final race. I have reached the conclusion that i was just being to nice on the track and it cost me 1st place. I think next time when i want 1st i'm going to be more aggressive and just take it. I can't wait for the next karting day. I'll have my eyes set on #1...so be ready....no more MR.NICEGUY :D
