We have a Tour day scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15, 2003 to go through the Don Garlitz museum of drag racing as well as his Classic Car Museum. THe price of admission will be $10/adult, $8/age>55 and teens, children $2. That is for both museums. THere is a Sonny's Barbeque, literally down the street to get lunch. The Museum does need to know how many will be attending, so, please RSVP by replying to this post with the size of your party. We have to submit this information by Jan, 15, 2003. There is plenty of room for parking and we should be able to arrainge the cars to put on quite a show of our own. So SHine up and sign up:D

THere will be more details to follow as the time gets closer, like where to meet to convoy there, etc.

See Ya!

Ok Folks,

I know is still a few day away, but get ready.

Let all put it together so we can drive up together.

Any suggestion please !

We should caravan up 75 north. Lets all meet at the first rest stop like we did for silver springs.

Please post you comments.

This is the weekend for the tour.

We will caravn up to the Don Garlits.

The caravan will start at the first rest stop on 75 just north of 275 between 8:00am and 8:30am.

Direction to Ddon Garlits :
Don Garlits is located along I-75, exit 341 east toward Belleview, Florida, just eight miles south of Ocala, Florida.

From Tampa drive north on 275 amd merge onto 75 North.
(First rest stop is about 5min on the right)

If you are coming from Daytona Beach and want to save a few minutes, here is a closer way.
From West Bound on State Road 40, turn South on County Road 35 at the traffic light near Silver Springs attraction and Wild Waters and head to Belleview, Florida.

In Belleview, turn west(right) on County Road 25. Remain on CR 25 (CR 25 turns into Highway 484) until the Interstate I-75. And there we are. This will save driving through Ocala.

See you there.
