SVTOA members had a nice surprise at the SVTOA On-Track in Summit Point a few weeks ago. Local member Glenn Broom and his Girlfriend made there way up to the event and also when to the On-Track event at VIR.
It was to there surprise on Saturday at Summit Point they saw a GT pull up.
Ed League drove the car down from Michigan and gave everyone 3 laps around the track! Ed League is a power train design engineer for SVT engineering.
Glen recalled Saturday being rainy and Ed had turned the GT around a couple of times becauseof it. "Ed ran it really hard every time he gave a ride" Said Glen. Glen's girlfriend said he was at 110 in the straight way.
It goes to Show that Ford supports SVTOA and when they get a chance they want to get on the track too. But Sure was nice for them the get a shot at the GT. You never know who or what will how up at an SVTOA event.
