well, there was only one KB car there so it wasnt a good comparison. He is just lucky none of the other KB cars in this area came to dyno :)

550rwhp at 20psi. I think he is running a conservative tune because that is very low for 20psi.

JDM usually uses STD results. And some people say that JDM 'exaggerates' their dyno numbers sometimes. Maybe that could be the case this time?

I have never been to JDM so I can't speak first hand, but I have heard both good and bad about them.

Like I said, I could be wrong. I am just going by what I have witnessed on the boards and the people I have talked to that have gone to JDM. So just take it with a grain of salt.

One thing I do know is that they always dyno in STD. Which puts out higher numbers than SAE (which is what secret services dyno's in). So I am guessing your graph from JDM was in STD.

That very well could be the case. But I think 23 degrees is pretty aggresive for 20psi, if your running pump gas with high boost like that you have to retard the timing anyway or you could get detonation.

I could be wrong though, I wish I knew more about it. I do know that not too many people run, or can run 20psi on pump gas. Thats why I am guessing they retarded the timing, to compensate for the higher boost.

Either way, what good is a dyno sheet of 600rwhp if you can only run 550rwhp safely on the street???? :D ;) :D :TUP: :)

I am free thursday. I just need to get my rim back from a friend. I run drag radials on two stock 03 cobra rims. My friend with an 03 broke one of his rims so he is borrowing mine. If I can get the rim back from him, put the drag radial on the rim, then I can make it.

The only thing that needs to be made clear is that they drive their own cars. John is in a win-win situation. When he wins he beat a car with over 100rwhp advantage. If he looses, he will have a slower car, but a much fatter wallet. All of the pressure is on the jr. guy. To put that much money into your car and get beat by a car that has $1500 in mods would not make me happy. There is more than power to consider, such as weight, traction, driver ability... Can jr put the power to the ground? I know that I would have a hard time with it, I still struggle with mine and it has not broke 480 to the wheels, but it has gone 11.7x on a piss poor 1.9 60'. See you all at the track tomorrow night!

I was hopeing to see who was the fasted in the club , then y take that person and challenge them out to another SVTOA club.

I have have been truing put together a chpater challange drag day with a trophie to the club with the fastest car or truck.

The chapter will keep it until the next challange.

Well - I was minding my own dam business looking for some DYNO PICS from JKD. Thought I would be kinda bored looking at them. So I clicked on the thread and I entered page 3 and HOLY SHIZZZZ -

World WAR III I entered. A challenge between JR and JKD. The real winner will be the one that can plant the TRACTION. Anyway I was NOT bored reading this thread. You guys tell me when you will eventually show because I want to see which one of the PIE HOLES gets left hanging open.

John is right. I would probably run 17 PSI @ 22 degees (MAX) of timing if I had a KB and was sticking with 93 Pump Gas.

Of course you are invited. No dyno queen here, my #'s are 425/430. We don't race on a dyno so those #'s mean zero. I was watching you/your car last week, a very strong runner. All the runs that I saw were 12.70's and 12.80's, but I read somewhere that you ran your best pass that night. Your car leaves soooo nice. I wish that I could get my dr's to hook like yours, well if they did I would destroy my axles:( . We can definatly race, I will just have to play catch for a little while!

I know. That's what all my friends said when I came back from a run. I think a few bulbs must have been out. My first and worst pass was 12.67@109.73 w/ a bogging 1.83 60ft. All the rest were from 12.501 to time in sig. Car was running consistant. I was just playin about the dyno queen comment. Just trying to get people to hit the track. :D -Mark
